History of Samkalp

Samkalp was established in 1986 in Delhi with the vision of nurturing
candidates driven by dedication, nationalistic values, and a strong
commitment to human ethics. In 2008, Samkalp expanded its
presence to Chandigarh under the banner of Jan Vikas Shiksha
Samiti Trust to serve the educational aspirations of the region.
Samkalp and its associated activities, including hostel facilities and
educational programs, are managed by two registered trusts — Jan
Vikas Shiksha Samiti Trust and Shri Narain Das Shiksha Nyas.
Recognizing their contribution to society in the field of education,
the Government of India has granted both trusts tax exemptions
under Sections 80G and 12A.
The educational initiatives and coaching programs are conducted
under Jan Vikas Shiksha Samiti Trust, while hostel facilities and
infrastructural development are overseen by Shri Narain Das Shiksha
Nyas. Individuals and organizations supporting this noble mission
regularly contribute through donations to these trusts.

‘SAMKALP’ in an endeavour to translate the above teaching of Swami Vivekananda in real life, organizes, every year, a 3 day fully residential ‘Disha Bodh Shivir’ (Social Orientation Camp) on the birth Anniversary of Swamiji. Disha Bodh Shivir is held every years in January.
