‘SAMKALP’ in an endeavour to translate the above teaching of Swami Vivekananda in real life, organizes, every year, a 3 day fully residential ‘Disha Bodh Shivir’ (Social Orientation Camp) on the birth Anniversary of Swamiji.

Disha Bodh Shivir is held every years in January.

LIBRARY AND READING ROOM FACILITIES

Samkalp provides the facilities of library with a big number of Civil Services Examination books, Journals and other relevant documents; i.e. year book & Budget survey. Samkalp also provides air conditioned and comfortable reading room facilities to other than Samkalp students from 9AM to 6PM with laptop charging arrangements at Chandigarh Centre Plot No-1, Sector 29A, Chandigarh. Admission is given on the basis of potentiality and social commitment judged through a procedure as per rules.

Interview Guidance Programme

Samkalp Chandigarh provides interview provide support to the students or preparing them for UPSC and State Public Service Commission examinations for which it has specialised over the last two decades on the strength of following:-

Competent and experienced faculty includes Retd. Chief Secretary, Army General, Subjects specialist, psychologist, press journalists, Engineers etc.
Atleast two mocks are given to every candidates by the mock board constituted from the other faculty. Additional mock are also given depending upon the requirement of the candidates.
Mock in group also provider whereby one candidate is interviewed who is watched from a gallery by other aspirants so as to understand the technique of effectively replying to the questions.
One to one discussion on Hobbies, DAF, Personal issues is also providing by experts.
Class on state issues is also organised.
Tests for writing the Civil Services Interview is also carried out on selected basis as per demand of the candidates. No charges are taken from the candidates.
